On June 1, 2010 I had Bi-Lateral Knee Replacement surgery. I am a personal fitness trainer and intend to document the total process in film. I also hope to incorporate exercises and ideas to make the process much smoother than I experienced. It would behouve you to listen if you consider this process, as I found much lacking. I am using the helmet cam to show my skiing and other goals achieved. Favicon

SEE YOU AT THE POLLS! ..... I forgot I had my Helmet Cam on as I entered my township building to vote. In this film I state " I believe in working". My opinion of the state of affairs of our country presently is Obama's push to feed, clothe, and suppo

This clip is filmed in Action HD at 60 fps and 7 Gb per minute. It is a vast improvement over the 720p I have been filming in.

T.Wasoon liked T.Wasoon's story Mount Snow - Tom Skiing 4

Tom skiing Mount Snow. I got into the groove here and accelerated to 38 mph (not mpg). My knees felt responsive. I inadvertently led Bud down an icy bump run later. I survived it. I never would have done so with my old knees.

Tom skiing a trail at Mount Snow. Busd is the cameraman and singer. My knees responded well. I got into the lateral motion aspect of skiing and used gravity to control my turns. I had fun.

This illustrates how my right hip and the associated adductors that should pull my hip into a more forward position are weak. The Underarmour emblem on the sock shows where the center of my leg is and Sam notices my misalignment first then the film co

My second year after knee replacement surgery. I skied pretty well last year, but feel more balanced and with limited pain now. I am using the Ski Edger again to stimulate memory of the lateral motion. I was less comfortable than I thought I would be

Did you do this by capturing separate stills on your contour, and if so what frame rate did you employ? ... or did you do this by the editing software(Final Cut Pro X,etc.) and if so which and what process did you employ? I presume the zoom at the end was done post-production through the software, Sorry for so many questions, but your work is very nice and I am trying to learn. Thanks, Tom

Excuse my ignorance, what is an eggtimer and how is it associated with a Contour GPS?
