They don't allow cameras, so I kept it in my pocket until the ride started. Then, yes, I simply held it in my hands and kept it as steady as possible. The only thing I did for wind noise was a piece of tape over the mic hole.

Of course it was in a case. You can see the reflection of the contour towards the end of the video. This has been done w/ an Iphone before. You wrap the camera in hand warmers to help w/ the battery life. They probably had a GPS of some type (or even a smartphone) in there w/ the contour to get it back. Cool vid. And agreed, the Contour GPS would be great for this, except I doubt battery life would last but maybe with an external battery source??

can you tell me a bit more about how you mounted your "knee cam". I am heading to six flags on Friday!

I love car audio and have invested plenty of money in my car audio/video systems. That's MY M3, Jeep, and Sportbike. Don't be hatin' just because I've been able to afford fun toys because I work hard and don't waste money on overpriced insurance because I know now not to get caught speeding... Funny, we both like car audio and obviously going fast, but you gotta hate because I took a completely different approach on my video w/ some creativity...
