A slightly frustrated Jonathan Huber and a failed train attempt with a handful of riders that braved the weather and came out to make 2011's Shelton Trail Jam a success. At least he squeezed out a quick run down the main line before he shut off the ca

Just an onlooker's view of Donovan and Jonathan Huber finishing up the death line at the 2011 Shelton Trail Jam and, wait.... who's that???? Why, it's Derik Archibald and Michelle Kautzman, co-owners of Lacey's Joy Ride Bike Shop, who came out to supp

One last run on camera with Jon Huber. You can see his front wheel come up toward him while doing a tucked no hander off of the mega booter. It's a shame that I don't have any footage of his more-than-manly beard and super sweet mullet that he's been

Jon Huber with another attempt at 360ing the mega booter on the Shelton Trails' Death Line. I swear to you, he did land this on multiple occasions.

Jonathan Huber wearing the helmet cam down the Shelton Trails' Death Line. For Jon's sake, he did pull off the 360 on the last jump (the mega booter) multiple times. Just not while wearing the camera.

This time it's Jake Shuster following Donovan down Shelton's death line. The low camera angle doesn't do their run any justice.

Shelton Trails local, Donovan following Jake Shuster down the death line until the helmet that was a bit on the large side got into his line of sight and sent him a little off course.

Little guy, little bike, big confidence. Not always a winning combination. We apologize to the ecosystem for any related damage.

What is it with me and trees? I wasn't going fast and the camera angle was a little low, but none the less, another tree jumped right out in front of me and brought me to the ground.

Finally, a break from the rain. My friend and I went out to Belfair to take advantage of one of the first really sunny days of Spring 2011.

No big story. Just a day of nice weather after it had been rainy for a while. Luckily it was warm out.

Nice capture on film. I've had some close calls in Belfair's trails, but that seemed especially sudden. Thanks for sharing it.

After getting loopy on an uphill berm and thrown from my bike, my abdomen met face to face with the trimmed tip of a downed tree. I lucked out on this one and got away with only a bruise and a dinged knuckle.
