Thanks Q-Vision!! When I clamped the gyro mechanism on to my ContourGPS, it got in the way of the front t-rails of my flat surface mount that really secures the camera to the mount. I'm going to switch to the universal mount for another test this weekend. You could setup rigs that can compensate for up/down motion on the bike, using a similar gyro setup, but it increases the size of the overall camera package. I've found that you won't notice the bouncing much if you can mount the camera near the bike's center of gravity. As this was shot from the back of the bike, the frame really magnifies all the bumps I go through.

This video is awesome because... The gyro keeps the horizon level instead of tilting with the bike. Totally different point of view.

Changed bikes and need to find new mounting points for shooting with my ContourGPS. Starting with two forward views. Check it out and let me know which you prefer?

Gareth, I don't know about you, but I've downgraded my firmware back to 1.13 on my ContourGPS. Version 1.15 creates a lot of artifact pixels, looks like immovable bad (white) pixels, but when I downgraded it's gone! Also, with 1.15, I've been having problem pairing bluetooth to my iPhone for the live preview. I haven't experienced the problem with the lagging sound, but noticed it in your clip. I do most of my clips on my bike, so the shifting is not that obvious. Cheers, Wilson

Using Continuous Photo mode, w/ photo taken every 30 seconds, time lapse sequence compressed 9 hours into less than 3 minutes. Produced by Cyberlink PowerDirector. How did my battery last that long? I made a USB cable to hookup to my USB powerpack. Ch

Looks like a great run around that track! The video and sound seem to be just a bit out of sync. Listen to the gear shifts and see when you actually shift in the video.

Sorry for the late reply. Im using the sliders from rhinomoto.com they are cap style so I just mounted a RAM 1 ball w M6 threads by drilling a hole in the slider. I have a spare so if Im not filming, I can just screw it onoff. The rest is the Long RAM arm with the standard base. I used the double stick tape on the older VholdR mount flat surface mount, but just to be safe, I drilled 4 holes and used cable ties to make sure it would not come off. Remember to teather your VholdR cam to the mount.Enjoy When I get a chance, Ill just shoot a video of the mount on my bike.

I put a RAM mount on my slider so I can switch from left to right side filming. I like it as it captures the flowing movements of the bike and it is not too bumpy in this position.

Hong Kongs a very small place. There are not many roads like this, hence its one of my favorites
