My current version of the software is written in the java programing language and uses the quicktime api to render video files. It takes the export file from garmin training center to create a green screen video. I then use final cut express to overlay the gauges onto the video file from the contourhd... The app. is very much a prototype and ive only tried running it on a apple mac although i think i could get it running on windows... yeah it really surprised me how smooth the video is from the seat, i guess there isnt enough weight on the front of the bike so vibration is a big problem on the handlebars.
