Yes, you can change the layout of the HUD. I made this one with what came with the program. I havent tried it yet but if youre able to make your own .INI files you can even use a picture of your own dashboard. Im gonna give that a shot and try to make some fancy looking HUDMaple Leaf Racing Pictureswww.mlrp.nl

I use a RAM Mount with round plate. I stick a RAM mount round plate adhesive disk double sided adhesive to the RAM mount itself and on top of that the VholdR flatmount. To be safe I secured it with some ductape.Check out this vid httpwww.vholdr.comnode7667After about 35 secs it shows a picture of the set up. The RAM Mounts diameter is just a little bit bigger than the VholdR Flatmount. Almost a perfect fit No need for screwing through anything. I used this setup on 12 track days last year and already five this year. The adhesive is strong enough to keep everything together even at high revs, speeds and cornering. Works greatMaple Leaf Racing Pictureswww.mlrp.nl

Right now I use the ContourHD and the waterproof case on my racebike to reduce the windnoise. It works great, no more windnoise I just put a small piece of rubber over the mic hole while I slide the cam inside the case.I still have to make a vid of a trackday at Assen, Netherlands from 2 weeks ago. Once Ive done that Ill upload it so you can judge the sound for yourself.Maple Leaf Racing Pictureswww.mlrp.nlwww.nieuwsmotor.nl

Once you get the hang of it it doesnt take that much time. Besides I mostly use it for track sessions which prevents me from switching it on and off anyways.Maple Leaf Racing Pictureswww.mlrp.nlwww.nieuwsmotor.nl

Hi RSVSpeed,I dont like the idea of silicone in combination with electronics very much, besides that I doubt it will work. When VholdR is recording try rubbing the outershell at the opposite side of the microphone hole. You will even hear this, because VholdR is kind of a sound box. Just closing the hole wont do the job, I reckon. On my bike is plenty of space for the extra packaging so it works well for me.Maple Leaf Racing Pictureswww.mlrp.nl
