That's our "playground" mountain... It was known as "avalanche-safe" for years, up to this year... Now we know that there are no safe wild mountains... But the price is too high for this knowledge...

SNOW at last!!!
SNOW at last!!! Riding powder on another small forest village ski-slope. Speed is from 30 to 55 km/h. This is my first attempt to combine video from ROAM and GPS data from my phone. But I still can't see the GPS track here... :O(

LOTS OF FUN! You guys ROCK! BTW, How's your progress in SNBRD Dave? Unbelievable, but there's ABSOLUTELY no snow in my home region! Sakhalin is all covered with 2 meters of snow, but my Primorsky region is EMPTY... I've had only 3 rides this season and it looks like there's no chance for backcountry here. It makes me a bit sad... I can't travel to China, Korea or our big Russian resorts this year because wife and daughter need my help. But I think next year I'll be able to go somewhere except the local slopes. So I'm glad to see you having fun!
