Hi - did you just put the suction cup right on the sheet metal? Also curious what kind of car you are driving and if those are the stock tires. The fit looked a little close on some of the hard braking right hand turns!

I used the older style (round) adhesive flat mount. I would imagine the newer style "rounded square" would work just as well. There's a photo on the thread: http://support.contour.com/contour/topics/curved_helmet_mounts

Partial trip down Deerfoot Trail. Note around 2:02 the typical Calgary driver - cutting from the rightmost exit-only lane, across a solid line and the leftmost exit-only lane, across the gore, into the rightmost straight-through lane.
