The velcro will do just fine. I have done about 200 jumps with it and no problems

Yes, but i dont use the lens shown in this video. The lens i use is a Raynox HD-5050PRO-LE. It works well, as you can see in the other videos i have here. The only problem is that because the lens is sticking out so far it can get knocked off.
