My first win. Sticking with Steven Taylor who was in another grading. Tyres totally shagged, struggling to hold the line with the wind in Turn 1.

Took my time to work my way through the pack to get to 3rd place.

The 1000's again have too much power for me off the line, but I quickly pick up 3rd spot again.

The same start as Race 1, the 100's have got too much power over my 675 to get off the line. But soon enough I was back in 2nd position picking up another trophy.

I started in 3rd out of 16. Note the split grid, Superbike Experts in the front grid. I was on the front row of my class.. I had an average start, but the the 1000's in my class have heaps more power and get off the line faster than my Triumph 675.

First race in Australia, not a bad start, gained a couple of positions, fairly smooth after that. Best lap 2:02, a lot of room for improvement.

The tiny yellow speck is me riding over Lukey Heights, through MG hairpin, around turn 11 and 12 at 180kph (110mph) and heading onto Gardiner Straight to accelerate to 250kph (160mph).

Looks like a difficult track to overtake on, quite technical, must be fun.

Nice work, you were catching those guys then ran a bit wide DohThe ripple strips, or should I say curbs, look a bit scary on that track.

That is race track crash number 4 in 12 months for this 2008 model bike. The worst was a 100 mph 160 kph high side This one was pretty minor, just needed a new rear brake lever.

Hi Thamilton1, yep I watched your vid, with the helmet mount, the wind noise might be the diff there. Behind the windscreen helps.

Hi Thanilton1, It was on the andle bars, mountded on some padding, just some spongy material we mount instruments etc on.I have a double bubble screen so it should be well away from wind noise. It is in front of the tank, so the engine noise should come straight up. The stage 2 titanium Arrow race Exhaust gives the bike a nice note too.
