Ive found that i can get vast improvements from both cameras, especially the Contour, editing in Final Cut pro, adjusting light levels to control contrast, brightness and colour.
Contour 1080p vs GoPro HD under water test and comparisons. Both cameras used on standard settings, no effects or colour correction used. Side by side footage is the centre 50% of the video.
