In fact i have the roll bar mount on my boomcam but its not really good working The round plastic part with the rubber is too thin... The mount is not stable and pivot balanceleft and right. With the ring bell mount its firmly fixed with screws And its wider...

The plate under my hand is used to slide on The road when i need to turn just look one of my video to understand what i mean I wrapped The camera because i fall regularly on concrete not on snow oI have made two kinds of foam protections for my camera, 1 for side mount And 1 for the Universal mount. Thats almost undestructible And ultra light wheight ... I took some isolating foam for plumber And some tape...

Unfortunatly the video with the fishing rods is jerky and its really difficult to have stable video... im working on it...The best mount i have made is certainly the boomcam in my backpack... i use it in all my video.i have allready finished your mount the same with the cycle bell, i just need to finish the sliding part to be able to put all my wheight on the grip handle while sliding on the road... ill post some pics to show you the result...regards,Dj

after some test with the fishing rod, i can say that its great but that need to be very very smooth in your movements... put some weight under the camera to stabilize it and be slow... after my first test i have to stabilize my footages with a program because its a little bit shaky. but when you know how it is working, you can take some nice footages... and thanks for the comments o
