Anyone who has ridden Whistler knows how many bears there are. Seems like you see atleast one every day just hanging out. This day we ran into mom and two cubs, this was probably the 10th bear of the day. Park bears are very used to people being around so they just hangout and eat, and ignore you. The best thing is usually to make lots of noise and keep riding, the problem here is when the bear ran the wrong way
