    Video is pretty awesome. JHole 10/11 season was unreal. Im looking to get a monopod, what type do you use? Also, are there any other mounts besides the monpod that you have on there?

    I tried Virtual dub (freeware) editing with deshaker filter. Works, but is not any easy consumer SW. Codecs for the Contour cam needed to be installed too. After that I also needed to re-compile files to mpeg4 using small application called Handbrake. I'm not really an expert on this, but managed to do something. I think that stabilization is big problem in ski videos with Contour optics. Something like this should be doable with Virtual dub: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gm-05gyP63g

    it's so steady because the pole cam ! If the pole have a little bit of flex it's absorbing all vibrations. At least mine does ;)

    Great! But please talk about how is it so steady? Post-shooting stabilizing? Video from my helmet is shaky as head shakes when skiing but this video is like it was done with a steady-cam. Any help / details on how to do it is appreciated.
