Some 45 miles west of Phoenix, the Vulture Mine Road VMR run starts with 18 miles of high speed straights and lazy corners averaging 85 mph cruising posted 50 mph. Capped off with a 7 mile straight as an arrow sprint triple digits speeds are the norm to the first of the technical corners as you enter the mountains. I started the recording right after braking hard for one of the nearly a dozen washes, this one a horrible mess from the storms of the last 34 days. Can you say FLASH FLOOD. VMR was repaved this year and the asphalt surface is a dream to ride, with gentle dips throughout you experience several bouts of weightlessness at speed.
