leelau: Got up to about 1520m on Thar Peak. Snow depth was 135cms. 70cms of light snow with uniform density overlaying 65 cms of rightside up layers. Stability was GOOD skies were overcast and temperatures were minus 10. Winds were 20 30kmh from the SW and the south aspects of Thar which we normally ski were more windaffected so we hugged the more northerly part of the slopes.Skied 200m shots. It still needs more snow for longer runs as the slide alder bashing down low is a bit much. However, its kind of fun to see more snow in the Coquihalla now though then in Jan of last yearFilmed with a regular point and shoot, Vholdr ContourHD and GoPro HD
