dfrieling:
Our 1st run of the day at Snowbird, down Peruvian Gulch see trailmap, youll see the rock wall on it was some adventure. The adventure starts at the 2 minute mark of the video where Andrew was skiing a catwalk with nearly vertical walls abovebelow, when his ski popped off and went over the wall, and landed sticking straight up in an avalanche chute. Only about a foot of his ski was visible and was too close to the sides of the chute to just retrieve. After a very scary time on the wall and Andrew now safe I began the next adventure of getting his ski. A little scary, intriguing, and some fun in the long run as I jumped off a snow wall, as I passed his ski in the air and landing in 4 deep powder I was able to grab his ski between my arm and body and hold on to it while it spun me around and I slid head first backwards down the snowfield, where you can hear Jacob laughing at me. Some adventure and all ended up just fine, no injuries. Dont ever complain when Dad says hes the most experienced and will bring up the rear there is a real reason for that as you will see.
