Skeleton Run_18 Feb_Trent Kraychir.
This run was so scary, it wasn't till curve 2 that i realized that my hands are freezing and i forgot my gloves. I was so scared that i would hit the walls that i oversteered in every curve to make sure i didn't hit, it could have been bloody. But overall it was my best run of the day at 5.02s start and 52s flat downtime; not a P.R. but an acceptable alternative, not to mention that the ice was soft and slow this because of the sun.
What would you do differently next time?
trentrelic:
I will remember to put on my gloves, i feel like an idiot, and i am so thankfull that i did not hit any walls else it could have been really bad. I have some tiny cut marks on the back of my hands from the outrun; they don't really treat or groom the outrun or the walls of the outrun post finnish line, so my hands hit some jagged ice on the walls. Atleast i didn't hit my hand against the wall on the track going 80mph, maybe 10-15mph towards the final 100' of the track.
Did you have a good time?
trentrelic:
I had a blast, i love training in the day; easier to warm up and stay warmed up because of the afternoon sun.
And there I was in the first few metres thinking, no sweat. Looks like fun...then all hell broke loose!! That was super quick and looked scary too. Nice run mate :) Asked by Krissboo

Man it's a blast, especially after the first 50m; thanks. Where do you guys find all those great bike trails in your videos; thats freaking awesome. =)
I just can't imagine doing that with soooo little control. I've done a bit of street luge but even there you can bail, get up, and walk back up the hill...not there...once you push off you're next stop is the bottom come hell or high water! Big cahones, my friend...hat's off to you! Asked by gpzmike

Haha, thanks, its not that bad once you just relax and let go; besides, if you're going to die, might as well be head first...lol... =)
