This video is awesome because... It's one of the longest descents in the world at 56km. Starting at 12,500' the trail winds through seemingly lifeless mountains, through old riverbeds and years-old mud slides. It is phenomenal. The trail ends at the Pacific Ocean near Lima.

    THAT was way fun!!! Is that something you just go do or is there some kind of briefing before hand. 56,000 meters = 34.7967 mi. 12,500' descent. How long did it take not counting rest stops. I'm thinking you probably didn't take too many rest stops.
