alister: We decided to take a day off from snowboarding in New Zealand to go and play in Queenstown for the day. This is a quick clip of us hitting up the Luge at the top of the Gondola in Queenstown. This is NOT extreme. It was a bit silly and heaps of fun. I realised I didnt have a helmet or goggle mount when we got to the luge, so I just jammed it in the chin strap of my helmet between the strap and my head. That is my beard on the left of frame... Still, it is an amazing view from up there.

that would be an AWESOME spot for longboarding im in australia right now and i keep seeing signs for luge tracks around maybe i should try and poach one....

hehe. yeah, NZ seems to be land of the nolawsuit. Most of the stuff you can do in Queenstown you would never be able to do anywhere else. Part of the reason it is so much fun

Man, that looks fun. We dont have anything like that around Seattle... heck, we had something like that when I was a kid but it was in concretefiberglass halfpipes but these days in the USA, the very first wipeout would result in a lawsuit so huge theyd shut it downOne more reason for me to visit NZ, I guess D
