what were your setting s on the camera
  • Picture-10529 VisionWells about 2 years ago

@Vikinglax, yes that is correct. Although the 3 other cameras also recorded sound, the best audio came from the camera mounted low on the belly pan. Depending on your video editing program, you should be able to silence the audio tracks you do not want to use.

So let me get this straight, you used one camera for main noise, (the one mounted in the belly pan), and then the rest for just video?

Just got the GPS countour. Took it for a test ride on my biplane and it works wonderful. However, I'm only getting the map and not the profile and speed as in this video. can you tell me how to add that feature? You help in this matter will be greatly appreciated

@jlethen, for keeping the wind noise down we mounted our Contour down low on the bike's belly pan and set the Mic sensitivity to 7.

Nicely done, I hadn't considered the handlebar views, that's a creative perspective. How'd you get the wind noise down so much?

@mikeL... Infineon Raceway is all about elevation changes! It's like a massive roller coaster if you can handle riding at full throttle. Infineon is all about cambered & off cambered turns, blind entry turns, increasing/decreasing radius turns and a long straight to test your mojo! If you've never been I highly recommend riding it.

@MerC, the guys at Contour put this edit together- we just shot the video. If you edit with FinalCut Pro you can setup a multi clip edit. Or for more fine tuning you can do it manually. I prefer this method- it's more time consuming but yields better results.

@pedro_rocha we mounted the "Throttle" & "Clutch" cameras using a prototype mount being developed by Contour. For the rest we used the Flat Surface mounts.

This is a great idea...The elevation changes are useless. Can it be replaced with an acceleration/deceleration curve - because that would be really useful...
  • Missing_icon mikel over 2 years ago

Indeed. And what's with the elevation changes? They seem a bit excessive.

How did you sync up the video between multiple cameras and thegps data? Is there a way to manually handle the gps data?

Hello, how did you fixed the cameras? Was there some kink of special support . Specially the ones that show the brake and gear box levers. Thanks, Pedro.

Very cool, i've been looking for something like this for track days, but the tracking isn't very accurate. It seems like the map reference is .5 to .75 seconds behind his actual track position. Is this an anomaly or is this an expected result?
  • Picture-36444 02wheels over 2 years ago

this is very cool, i like how the map is interactive but will youtube let you have that interactive map on their page?
