Am interested to read this. I just bought a ContourHD and my next proper ride will be Thursday in dark about 60km XC on South Downs Way from Cocking. I have a Lupine Wilma on bars, with 2006 upgrade to 750 lumens on helmet an Exposure Spark and Diablo can switch the Diablo on whilst filmeing and see how it goes. Cant wait to see how it goes. Do you think it is best to run on SD then , rather than HD I saw your comment on lights only having a narrower beamMutly, Isle of Wight, UK2010 Specialized Epic Marathon MTB2008 Kuota Kebel Ultegra SL2006 Trek 1200SL Tiagra triple2004 Gary Fisher Montare2003 Fausto Coppi Lombardia Tiagra

Unfortunately the camare I use has no names printed on it and I dont know where the invoice is anymore. When I purchased it over 5 years ago it didnt come with a record device, it sends av to a camcorder. It cost an arm and a leg though as it was the same as that used in british touring cars and rallying, i.e. TV broadcast quality. I might have to upgrade to a HD version in the near future.Unfortunately a cold has gotten me so it looks unlikely that I will be there this wednesday but maybe hook up the following wednesday and hopefully some of the locals will be there as well.

That is with the HD wide angle setting. Next time I will try it on the 480p. Im using a Niterider TriNewt. I love it. For a single, handlebar mount it does a great job.

Was that with the 480p settingI realised afterwards there was no reason to put the 720p wide angle setting on as the light isnt anywhere near as wide as the camera.Which lights have you got as well

Interesting video. If you want to do a night ride there and want it videoing let me know as I have a helmet camera that works in low light. See httpwww.youtube.comwatchv9QGrqZgS3rA for an example of the camear working with my single light.
