secondborndistribution: Because we all love tire smoke and off course Contour's works straight out of the box!

What equipment are you using here?

secondborndistribution: Contour ROAM:straight out of the box. Contour GPS: have had the lighting conditions adjusted. Contour HD: with ND2 filter, since we normally use it inside our rallycar. Video has been color graded.

    Yes It is great, I brought one! The Specs are the same for modes Full HD and Tall HD. Action mode is the only one that is different. But yes , cool video.

    I think that's a matter of opinion. I think the ROAM looks fantastic. And it doesn't have the same specs. The ROAM shoots in 30fps where the GPS shoots in 60.

    The ROAM dosen't look as good a quality as the HD and GPS but has the same recording specs. Why is this?

    @Wic_ed1 - We do A LOT of filming at that race track for motorcycles & cars and the best way we sync multiple Contours is by HONKING HORN. And like MarkHawk mentions, you line up the audio spikes in the waveform. We edit with Final Cut Pro and it's gravy to do!

    No Storyteller does not offer this, but lots of 3rd party software applications do.

    @Wic_ed1 You can sync 3 clips by clapping several times at the start of recording once all 3 cameras are recording. It's not tough to then later line up the 3 audio spikes (clap sound in an audio waveform) on a timeline. Storyteller doesn't offer these features to my knowledge.
