What equipment are you using here?

stringy: 10m naish park with xenon infra twintip

What camera are you using? How did you mount it?

stringy: main random clips filmed with SLR, Contour GPS on kite lines, and another wide angle camera we won't care to mention. only used it because I haven't got my roam yet...

Who was there with you?

stringy: josh, joe and stephen

Where is that and how do I get there? I want to do that!

stringy: Located on Whidbey Island, you'll need to catch the ferry to cross onto the island. then head to double bluff state park and look for the kites in the air

yes payback, the camera follows the same path as the kite so one direction is oriented correctly and the opposite direction is completely upside down.

Thanks Jim makes sense. The flipped footage would be from opposite direction (depending on which way you rotate) because that would be upside down if I'm not mistaken?

hi payback, I rotate only 90 degrees. That is the beauty of the Contour cameras. this way I can have the horizon good going both directions. I just need to flip some of the footage in my editing software when I make my video.

Jim do you rotate your lens at all with Kitehero mount to get horizon level? IF so by how much.
