Hey all,
As several guessed, the sound on some of my other videos is wired directly through the intercom system in the airplanes I was flying. My Nflghtcam GPS camera (powered by Contour) has wiring connected to plug it into the audio system of my airplane. With that, I can add music real time with an iPod through either a headset or directly into the intercom aux input. Hope you've all enjoyed the videos. I've had a blast making them.
In this video, it appears the basis for the calculation of velocity may be the change in Lat/Long alone. If so, how about including change in altitude in the equations.
Please tell me what you used to support the Contour.
I a really impressed that it handled the amount of G that you were putting the aircraft and yourself through.
Same question, what happened to the sound? My ContourHD sometimes doesn't record sound at all but has never cut in and out. Main question: are you using the UV filter? Never saw the "sun flare" even when the camera was facing directly at the sun, not even the "black sun" effect either.
