bean: This is 7 minutes of a ride I took from Lodi to Big Trees, CA.brThere is an epic story behind this ride. Sadly the cameras battery died long before the crazy stuff...brI took what I thought would be a shortcut between San Andeas and Arnold. What I got was a mix of one lane roads, goat trails, uphill dirt roads, gravel roads, roads made of large rocks, and roads made of large rocks submerged in a foot of water. Taking my cruiser through this was easily the dumbest thing Ive done in a long while.brIt kills me that I cant show you guys more of this ride. What youll see here is actually quite scenic.brWhat came later was one slip away from sliding down into places only seen by others who had done the same and abandoned their vehicles. The worst was a winding uphill dirt road with trenches down the middle where ice had settled and melted. Having a tire fall into one of these would have been a disaster.brThankfully I made it through with only a slightly bent shift lever. The bike had bottomed out several times going over rocks the size of grapefruit. So Im fortunate that was the only damage.brThis video is called Dogtown Rd because thats what the footage shows.
