This video is awesome because...

stringy: it shows me what I can do with the Contour GPS while kiteboarding on a twintip. I learned a lot from making this prototype and can now work on the next version. Even though part of the mount system had failed while on the water, I understand the forces better and how to compensate for it. next one will be better!

What would you do differently next time?

stringy: redesign the mounting bracket to handle the load. I'll also try different aspect ration to give it a wider perspective

What camera are you using? How did you mount it?

stringy: Contour GPS with waterhousing. Mounted on my kiteboard with a custom machined mount that captures the housing body complete, and also providing a lockout on the door hinge, preventing it from accidentally opening. this opart of the mount was attached to a bracket which mounted to my board via the fin holes. that part of the mount failed after about a dozen impacts with the water after a huge jump.
