adventurer: httpwww.professionaladventurer.com200912contourhdreviewandtesting.html I spent most of today testing and playing with the ContourHD 1080p. Using a wearable HD camera that has no screen definitely requires practice and set up so the camera will do what you want to do when you want it to. I tried 3 different mounts in a variety of conditions. I did not really tweak the exposure settings as I wanted to get a feel for how the camera should be positioned first, THEN mess with exposure settings.First the truck mount I use an old network cam mount and mounted it to my trucks catch spot. The mount itself is a bit springy and I think I need a sturdier mount, but the angles and concept worked well, you do need the tripod adaptor for this, it is also a easy way to recharge if you have a 12 volt to USB connector. Now into owning it and I am impressed with the smallest 1080p HD wearable camera in the world. On both the goggle mount and helmet mount you can not feel the camera at all. The only down side to this camera is that you can not change settings out. I would love to see an app for that, I would love t be able to change the exposure settings from my iPhone, but my insiders at VholdR say its a no go We talked about it, and would like it, but the iPhone cant be a host for the Contour. Oh and speaking of iPhones, DO NOT put your phone near the camera when its recording. you get that feedback sound. I have been messing with it mainly indoors and for short treks out, so far I have not captured any earth shattering video. Check back from time to time, I am sure I have something wicked cool in the next few
