This is a demonstration of the issue you can have trying to take 60fps video and using it in iMovie 09 to do slow motion. Ive talked about the issue in the forum here...httpwww.vholdr.comforumssoftware60fpsslowmotion
Hey guys, I've been using mountainmoto's "MovieEdit.app" since he released it in the original thread. I've put up the Snow Leopard version in my public dropbox. You can grab it here:

Hi.. thanks for great vid!! I wonder where can I get your program to slow down 60fps movie without droping any frame..? it would be great if you can email me: smogrovic@gmail.com thanks a lot!!
Sorry folks, seems all the links to the old vholder site are dead. I can't get to them anyway. There use to be an active forum (that was the link I had posted, into the forum) but I can't find it now, I guess it's gone, I don't know.
Ever since they reworked their site it seems kinda useless now so I don't visit here often anymore.
Anyway, in the old forum thread there was a good explanation of where to go to get my tool, including the source code. Off hand I don't remember where I put it. I'll look for it and post up if I find the information.
Hey MM, i would love to be able to use your great tool. That would make my videos look much better. How can I get your tool, I´m new on this page....
Thanks, Ole
Hey Mountainmoto,
Like Nick I would love to use your edit program however the link is not working... Can you help us out? Surprised not many people are looking for your tool as to me it seems to be the only good and working solution! Thanks for making it...
Mvd
Mountainmoto, i would love to be able to use your program (and thanks for making it) but the link on your last comment isnt working for me...any suggestions?
Hey MM just wanted to saw kudos and thanks for the postings on this topic. I just got my 1080p unit yesterday and have been messing about, testing both it and iMovie 09. Downloaded the utility and it worked perfectly. A droplet app would be sweet for batch processing.Anywho, heres the test vidhttpwww.vholdr.comnode63078
I was just using 14 speed as an example. If you make the video 12 speed you get true 30fps from 60fps.I hadnt gotten much response from anyone who wanted to try my program so I havent cleaned it up yet.Ill clean it up this weekend. PM me an email address and Ill send you a copy to play with.
Is this little tool already available for download Im eager to start using it Thanks for sharing...Im just wondering, since we start with 60 frames per second, why not use 30 frs to get even better quality than using 15 frs Because the camera already does double, using halve the speed gets us slow motion using full 30 frs Not
As I mentioned in the forum httpwww.vholdr.comforumssoftware60fpsslowmotionIll share the program I wrote as soon as I clean it up a bit and find a place to host it.
Well done solving a problem iMovie shouldnt even have. I am not tech savvy, and cannot write my own moviedit application. How can I achieve what you have
