He came in 40th in Junior Mens... Kinda gives you an idea just how fast Lopes was rolling coming in 0:38 faster @ 4:20:45. Tyler Allison took the win in the cat that this fella was racing though; 4:31:05.

Superb video! Can you tell me how you mounted your Contour HD to your helmet as the actual finished film is super smooth. Everything I have shot is basically unwatchable, so any advice about modifications etc would be greatly appreciated.

Mounting the camera is fairly easy. I used the flat surface mount (the goggle mount shakes a lot more) and attached it to the side of my full face helmet near my ear or where ever it is flat. Once attached to your helmet all you have to do is adjust the angle up or down and make sure the lasers are horizontal and it should work fine.
Hey Karma - it may be that your computer's video card can't process the super hi-def stuff. Try lowering the resolution on your camera and see if that doesn't fix it for you.
A great run dude. I am sure future races will get even better for you. This video put me in the seat and I sure can never ride like that. Thanks for the experience and may better finishes be in your future.

Yeah I used the contour HD. There weren't many shadows because it was slightly overcast making the video come out really clear and smooth.

Whistler tourism doesn't need to spend money making advertisements, they just need to show this video.

how do you adjust the sound noise? wind
Hey Freak - you can adjust the mic's gain in the provided software. Lowering it will reduce it's pickup.
